The Department of the Interior, through the National Park Service, is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of the HVAC and furnace systems at the Mission 66 Housing within the Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona. The project entails the removal of existing swamp coolers and furnace systems, along with the installation of new HVAC systems, including a 5-ton air conditioning unit and a 100,000 BTU 95% AFUE furnace for each of the three houses, as well as duct cleaning and sanitization. This initiative is part of the NPS's commitment to enhancing living conditions at the monument while ensuring optimal climate control in the housing units. Interested small businesses must submit their proposals electronically by the specified deadline, with a site visit scheduled for August 6, 2025, and a requirement for performance and payment bonds for contracts exceeding $35,000. For further inquiries, contractors can contact Lindsay McLaughlin at lindsay_mclaughlin@nps.gov or by phone at 719-470-8678.
