The Indian Health Service (IHS) is conducting market research for the potential use of Project Labor Agreements (PLA) in the design-build construction of a new Alamo Navajo Health Center in Alamo, New Mexico. The project aims to replace the existing health clinic and provide a comprehensive outpatient wellness facility for approximately 2,650 tribal residents, encompassing a range of medical services including primary care, specialty care, and emergency medical services within a facility not exceeding 70,000 square feet. This initiative is part of a larger effort to enhance healthcare access for the Alamo Band of Navajo community, with an anticipated project cost between $50 million and $100 million, and a contract award expected in the fourth quarter of 2025. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their responses regarding the use of PLAs to Erik Lundstrom at erik.lundstrom@ihs.gov by the specified deadlines, as this notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
