    Presolicitation VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF is seeking qualified Architect-Engineering (AE) firms to submit Standard Form 330 (SF 330) Architect/Engineering Statement of Qualifications for Project 679-24-105, Master Planning at the Tuscaloosa VAMC, located at 3701 Loop Rd, Tuscaloosa AL 35404. The service being procured is Architect-Engineering (A/E) design services for the development of a Facility Master Plan for the Tuscaloosa VAMC. The plan will build on previous facility strategic planning, strategic capital investment planning, facility condition assessment, and existing space plan. The A/E will evaluate build versus lease versus fee out decisions, as well as renovation versus new construction versus non-capital solutions, to meet capacity requirements. The A/E will work closely with the Medical Center's Integrated Planning Team and develop a Strategic Business Plan and related Strategic Facility Plan. The estimated period of performance is 300 calendar days. The procurement is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The area of consideration is restricted to A/E firms with an operating office located within 500 miles of the Tuscaloosa VAMC. The selection criteria include professional qualifications, specialized experience, capacity to accomplish work, past performance, location knowledge, and commitment to use SDVOSB and VOSB.
