The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is preparing to solicit proposals for the construction of EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania. This project, valued between $20 million and $50 million, involves a Firm-Fixed-Price contract and is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The scope includes constructing a new data center building, renovating over twenty-five Telecom Rooms, installing CAT 6A network cables, and implementing underground ductwork and fiber optic cabling, all aimed at enhancing the VA's electronic health record management capabilities. The solicitation is expected to be released in late April 2025, and interested parties should direct inquiries in writing to Contract Specialist Benjamin Niznik at Benjamin.Niznik@va.gov.
