Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY is seeking sources for a fiscal year 24 base realignment and closure (BRAC) per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) remedial investigation (RI) at four Army BRAC installations nationwide. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District, is looking for qualified small businesses to perform RI services for PFAS at Defense Depot Memphis, Tennessee; Fort Barfoot (formerly Fort Pickett), Virginia; Fort Sheridan, Illinois; and Sacramento Army Depot, California. The work includes conducting RIs, feasibility studies, community relations support, and providing alternative water supply. The contract is expected to be awarded in the 4th quarter of FY24 with a seven-year period of performance. Small businesses under NAICS code 562910 are encouraged to submit responses. The government is particularly interested in firms with PFAS experience at multiple locations and highly qualified team members. The deadline for submissions is February 7, 2024.
