    Sources Sought HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF: Brand-Name or Equal: SPT Labtech Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Receivers
    The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking information from qualified small businesses for the procurement of brand-name or equal SPT Labtech Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Receivers. These receivers will serve as integrated automated sample transport interfaces for the Reaction Preparation and Screening platform being developed at the NIH's National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS).
    The Reaction Preparation and Screening platform is a tailor-made modular system designed to accelerate the development of small molecules for drug discovery. The SPT Labtech NMR Receivers will be used as automated analytical sample delivery interfaces, facilitating the efficient and automated delivery of analytical samples to remote analytical instrumentation.
    The receivers must utilize pneumatic (air) transport technology and have the capability to move samples between various locations and analyzers. They should also be able to accommodate SPT Labtech's specially designed 2D-barcoded vials and integrate into the Lab2Lab system. Additionally, the receivers should be capable of receiving sample vials from the Lab2Lab router for aspiration and sending them back after successful aspiration.
    The procurement requires two (2) SPT Labtech NMR Receivers, with a delivery date of within 12 weeks after receipt of order. Interested small businesses that meet the project requirements should submit their capability statements to the Contracting Officer, including information on their qualifications, number of employees, and any relevant government-wide acquisition contracts they hold.
