The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to negotiate a sole source contract with Central Admixture Pharmacy Services (CAPS) for the full-service maintenance of a proprietary Total Parenteral Nutrition system at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This procurement is justified under FAR 6.302-1, as CAPS is the only responsible source capable of meeting the unique requirements due to their exclusive knowledge of the system's design and the critical nature of patient care training associated with it. Interested parties that believe they can fulfill the specified capabilities are invited to submit their information by 11:00 AM EST on January 21, 2025; however, this notice does not constitute a request for quotations, and the government will proceed with CAPS if no other responses are received.
