The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential contractors for the Expand and Consolidate Primary Care project at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System in Prescott, Arizona. The goal is to renovate and expand the primary care space within Building 117.
This construction project has a planned budget of between $10 million and $20 million and an estimated duration of 420 calendar days. The scope involves renovating 15,407 square feet and constructing 4,609 square feet of new space. It includes demolition, general construction, and alterations, as well as the installation of necessary systems and infrastructure.
The VA is looking for capable contractors to submit capabilities statements outlining their qualifications. The statement should include the company's contact details, business size and type, a statement of interest, bonding capacity, and details of previous similar projects. Respondents should highlight their relevant technical expertise and key personnel, with a focus on self-performed work.
The VA intends to issue a competitive firm-fixed-price contract, with the solicitation method and socio-economic set-aside determined by the responses received. The anticipated solicitation will consider either technical and price factors or focus on price alone.
Interested parties should submit their capabilities statements by August 5, 2024, at 4:00 PM ET, to the VA's Contracting Office, with electronic submissions preferred. The VA emphasizes that this is a market research and information gathering exercise and should not be construed as a commitment or obligation.
