The General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting a market survey to identify qualified construction firms for the Design-Build (D-B) modernization of the Alcan Land Port of Entry (LPOE) in Tok, Alaska. The project aims to replace or extensively modernize the existing facilities, which are over 50 years old, to meet the operational needs of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Canadian Border Services Agency while ensuring the port remains operational throughout construction. This significant undertaking, estimated to exceed $350 million, will enhance port efficiency and improve the quality of life for staff and their families.
