The Department of Agriculture, specifically the Forest Service, is seeking a contractor for a single-source justification project focused on bat exclusion and proofing at the Detroit Ranger Station in Oregon. The primary objective is to prevent bats from entering the main Admin Building and to seal the structure to eliminate any potential entry points, addressing an urgent health risk associated with a bat infestation and the presence of histoplasma. Given the unique circumstances and the immediate need for action, Get Bats Out has been identified as the sole provider capable of executing this project, in accordance with FAR guidelines. Interested parties can contact Lorenzo Montoya at lorenzo.montoya@usda.gov or by phone at 503-658-9537 for further details.
