The Department of Health and Human Services, specifically the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is conducting market research to identify small business sources capable of providing a preventative maintenance contract for Vitrocell 24/48 exposure modules used in toxicological research. The contract will support the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) in maintaining specialized equipment essential for evaluating the toxicity of tobacco products through in vitro studies. Interested parties are encouraged to submit capability statements by May 30, 2025, to Nick Sartain at nick.sartain@fda.hhs.gov, as the FDA seeks to determine the availability of qualified contractors for this critical maintenance service.
