The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is conducting a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify qualified vendors capable of supporting the Radiation Protection Computer Code Analysis and Maintenance Program (RAMP). The primary objective is to find organizations that can perform research and development in areas such as Dose Assessment, Atmospheric Dispersion & Environmental Transport, and Emergency Response & Protective Actions, which are critical for maintaining and improving NRC-sponsored radiation protection and dose assessment computer codes. These services are essential for ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of nuclear facilities, particularly in light of lessons learned from past incidents like Fukushima. Interested vendors must submit their capabilities and relevant experience by January 9, 2025, to Jeffrey Mitchell at Jeffrey.Mitchell@nrc.gov, as there is no solicitation at this time.
