    The Department of Defense (DEPT OF DEFENSE) is seeking information for the procurement of fresh fruits and vegetables (FF&V) to support the DLA Troop Support's DoD and Non-DoD customers located in the State of Louisiana.     The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather comments and feedback regarding the Agency's full line produce support to Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) customers throughout the Continental United States (CONUS). The Agency intends to issue a solicitation and enter into indefinite quantity contract(s) (IQC) with a commercial firm(s) to supply a full-line of USDA Grade Number 1 or better quality fresh fruits and vegetables and Shell Eggs (if required by the customers) to DoD and USDA customers in the Louisiana Zone.

    The Louisiana Zone will be comprised of two groups: Group 1 consisting of Louisiana Troop Customers and Group 2 consisting of USDA Louisiana School customers. The solicitation will result in one award per group. Offerors are required to propose on all items in the Schedule of Items for each group they choose to propose on. Failure to do so may render a proposal technically unacceptable.
