    The Department of Defense, through NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, is soliciting proposals for maintenance and repair work on the USS Howard (DDG-83) as part of the Fiscal Year 2025 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA) Bundle 2. The project involves comprehensive cleaning, inspection, repair, and preservation of various fuel tanks aboard the vessel, with a focus on ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This maintenance is critical for maintaining the operational readiness and safety of naval vessels, particularly in relation to fire zone boundaries and the use of non-flammable materials during repairs.
