The Department of Justice, through the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking information from potential providers for Residential Reentry Center (RRC) and Home Confinement services in specific Illinois counties, including Champaign, Vermillion, Ford, Piatt, Douglas, Macon, Kankakee, and Iroquois. The Bureau aims to identify qualified sources capable of offering 30 in-house beds (25 for males and 5 for females) and 15 home confinement placements, with services required to be within a 200-mile radius of the facility. These services are crucial for facilitating the transition of federal offenders from incarceration to community reintegration, emphasizing safety, rehabilitation, and compliance with federal regulations. Interested vendors must submit their responses by October 23, 2024, and can contact Matthew Comstock at mcomstock1@bop.gov or Tana Jankowiak at tjankowiak@bop.gov for further information.
