The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is offering the Delta Health Systems Implementation Program (DSIP), a federal grant aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery in rural areas of the Delta region. This program seeks to fund projects that improve the financial sustainability of rural healthcare organizations, focusing on areas such as financial and operational improvement, quality enhancement, telehealth, and workforce development. With a total funding pool of $2 million, the program will award up to five grants, each with a maximum of $400,000, to eligible organizations located in the 252 counties and parishes across eight states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee.
