The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is offering the Fiscal Year 2025 Justice for Families Program, a federal grant aimed at enhancing the response of the justice system to families affected by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This program seeks to fund activities that improve court and community responses, including supervised visitation, safe exchanges between parents, training for court personnel, and civil legal assistance. With an estimated total funding of $14 million, the OVW anticipates awarding approximately 20 grants, with individual awards ranging from $600,000 to $700,000. Interested applicants, including states, local governments, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations, should submit their proposals by January 17, 2025, and can reach out to OVW at OVW.JFF@usdoj.gov for further assistance.
