OVW Fiscal Year 2025 Research and Evaluation Initiative
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is inviting applications for the Fiscal Year 2025 Research and Evaluation Initiative, aimed at studying and enhancing approaches to prevent and address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This initiative seeks to foster researcher-practitioner partnerships and utilize a variety of research methods to build a stronger evidence base that can inform effective practices for OVW recipients. With an estimated total program funding of $9 million, the OVW anticipates awarding up to nine cooperative agreements, with individual awards ranging from $350,000 to $5 million. Interested applicants, including state and local governments, tribal organizations, and nonprofits, must submit their proposals by March 4, 2025, and can reach out to OVW at ovw.research@usdoj.gov for further assistance.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants are limited to: States and units of local government, Tribal governments, Tribal organizations, Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, Public and private institutions of higher education.
