The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs is inviting Statements of Interest (SOIs) for the FY24 International Technology Security and Innovation (ITSI) Programs in the Philippines, aimed at enhancing semiconductor assembly, testing, and packaging capabilities. This initiative, established under the CHIPS Act of 2022, seeks to expand the workforce and improve regulatory environments to support the semiconductor sector, with a focus on two key areas: Workforce Development and Policy and Regulatory Reform. Eligible applicants include U.S. and foreign non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and for-profit entities, with funding amounts ranging from $500,000 to $2,000,000 for projects lasting up to 36 months.
