The U.S. Mission to Kyrgyzstan is inviting proposals for the Public Diplomacy Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program, aimed at enhancing STEM education and investment in the Kyrgyz Republic. This initiative seeks to address the challenges of limited access to STEM resources, particularly in rural areas, by improving educational opportunities, equipping educators, modernizing curricula, and fostering partnerships between U.S. and Kyrgyz organizations. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and individuals from both the Kyrgyz Republic and the U.S., with funding amounts ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 for projects lasting 6 to 12 months. Proposals must be submitted by July 15, 2025, and should demonstrate measurable objectives and a comprehensive evaluation plan. For inquiries, applicants can contact the Mission Bishkek Public Diplomacy Grants Management Team at BishkekProjectProposals@state.gov.
