The U.S. Mission to Azerbaijan is inviting proposals for the English-Language Program for Disadvantaged Communities, aimed at providing English-language training to youth aged 12-17 from underserved areas, particularly those outside the capital city. The program seeks to deliver free English-language instruction using effective, student-centered methodologies while promoting American culture, community service, and critical-thinking skills among participants. With an estimated total funding of $100,000, the program will award between $15,000 and $25,000 to approximately five selected projects, with proposals due by May 5, 2024, and awards expected to be announced by June 20, 2024.
