The U.S. Mission to the Democratic Republic of Congo is offering the PRM Julia Taft for Refugees Fund, a federal grant aimed at supporting local and national NGOs in addressing critical humanitarian gaps for refugees and persons at risk of statelessness. This initiative, launched in 2000, seeks to fund one-time, low-cost interventions that provide essential assistance to refugees and refugee returnees in the DRC. With an estimated total program funding of $50,000, the grant will award between $10,000 and $25,000 to approximately eight selected projects, with applications due by March 22, 2024. Interested organizations can reach out to May Obolensky at polgrantskinshasa@state.gov for further information.
