The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is forecasting a grant opportunity for the Refugee Individual Development Accounts (RIDA) Program, aimed at supporting low-income refugee participants in establishing Individual Development Accounts (IDAs). This program will enable eligible refugees to save for specific asset goals such as homeownership, business capitalization, and education, with recipient organizations allowed to provide matching funds of up to $3,000 per individual and $6,000 per household. With an estimated total program funding of $2 million and six awards anticipated, interested public or private non-profit agencies can contact Yimeem Vu at Yimeem.Vu@acf.hhs.gov or 202-401-4825 for more information. Applications are expected to be submitted electronically by May 1, 2025, with awards anticipated to be made by August 29, 2025.
