The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering a funding opportunity for the FY25 IIJA/IRA Youth Conservation Corps in Oregon and Washington, aimed at engaging youth aged 16-30, including veterans and tribal members, in conservation projects on public lands. This initiative seeks to diversify the workforce and promote environmental stewardship while providing employment opportunities through projects such as habitat restoration, trail maintenance, and cultural resource preservation. With a total funding pool of $150,000, individual awards will range from $28,000 to $50,000, and applicants are required to provide a 25% cost-sharing contribution. Proposals must be submitted via Grants.gov by March 2, 2025, with projects expected to commence in July 2025 and conclude by September 2030.
