The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering a funding opportunity for the Fiscal Year 2025 aimed at enhancing recreation and visitor services in Oregon and Washington through a cooperative agreement. This initiative seeks to improve outdoor access for underserved communities, foster public lands stewardship, and address environmental justice and climate resilience, aligning with key legislative priorities such as the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. With an estimated total funding of $800,000, the BLM plans to award grants ranging from $5,000 to $200,000 to eligible applicants, which include private institutions of higher education, state and local governments, nonprofits, and Native American tribes. Interested parties must submit their applications electronically via Grants.gov by March 10, 2025, and can contact Courtney Casavan at ccasavan@blm.gov for further information.
