The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is offering a cooperative agreement through the Rural Residency Planning and Development Technical Assistance (RRPD-TA) Program, aimed at enhancing healthcare access in rural communities by supporting the establishment and sustainability of rural residency programs. The program seeks applicants to provide technical assistance to organizations developing these residency programs, with a focus on overcoming challenges related to workforce shortages and ensuring that physicians are trained to practice in rural areas. Eligible applicants include public and private non-profits, for-profit organizations, state and local governments, and tribal entities, with a total funding amount of up to $1.25 million available for one cooperative agreement over five years. Interested parties must submit their applications by March 18, 2025, and can contact Jason Steele at JSteele@hrsa.gov for further information.
