The Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) of the U.S. Department of Justice is inviting applications for the FY2024 COPS Technology and Equipment Program, aimed at enhancing law enforcement capabilities through the acquisition of advanced technologies and equipment. This grant program is designed to support state, territorial, local, and Tribal law enforcement agencies in developing effective tools for crime prevention and response, thereby promoting community safety and trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. With an estimated total program funding of $247,347,161 and an award ceiling of $4,878,000, the COPS Office anticipates awarding approximately 311 grants.
