The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is preparing to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the establishment of a Data Coordinating Center dedicated to the Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Mouse Brain Atlas (AD-MBA). This initiative aims to integrate and disseminate multiscale mouse brain datasets to support the aging and Alzheimer’s disease research community, leveraging the NIA-supported AD Knowledge Portal for data hosting and collaborative analyses, while also developing tools for the integration of multi-omics and connectomics datasets. The opportunity is particularly significant as it will serve as a central resource for researchers, enhancing the accessibility and visualization of integrated data. Interested applicants, particularly small businesses with expertise in aging research, are encouraged to prepare for the application process, with the estimated synopsis post date set for September 1, 2025, and the application deadline anticipated for January 25, 2026. For further inquiries, potential applicants can contact Erin E. Gray, Ph.D., at erin.gray@nih.gov or by phone at 301-451-3968.
