The Administration for Community Living is offering a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, Phase I grant aimed at stimulating technological innovation in the private sector, particularly to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. Eligible small businesses are invited to conduct research to assess the scientific or technical merit and feasibility of their concepts, with the goal of increasing the commercial application of research results supported by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). This opportunity includes a total estimated funding of $1,100,000, with individual grants ranging from $95,000 to $100,000, and a project period of six months.
