The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is offering a grant opportunity titled "State and Impact of the Humanities," aimed at funding data-driven research that assesses the state, impact, and value of the humanities in the United States. This program encourages research proposals that may utilize quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methodologies and require active participation from individuals working in the humanities. With an estimated total program funding of approximately $600,000, the NEH plans to award between 4 to 8 grants, with individual awards ranging from $75,000 for up to 12 months to $150,000 for up to 24 months. Interested applicants, including private institutions of higher education and other eligible entities, must submit their proposals by April 16, 2025, and can find additional information and application guidelines at the NEH website or contact the Office of Data and Evaluation at odeprograms@neh.gov.
