The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is inviting applications for its Public Humanities Projects program, which aims to enhance public understanding of significant humanities themes through exhibitions and interpretive programs. Eligible projects should focus on themes such as American Military History and Valor, the American Dream and Economic Freedom, American Exceptionalism in World Affairs, or the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and must involve collaboration with external humanities scholars. The program offers funding levels of up to $75,000 for planning and up to $750,000 for implementation, with no cost-sharing requirement, and applications are due by September 10, 2025, with awards expected to be announced in April 2026.
