The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering funding through the FY 2024 and FY 2025 Community Compass Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Program, with a total estimated funding of approximately $91 million. This initiative aims to empower various eligible applicants, including NAHASDA-eligible Indian tribes, regional planning organizations, and small disadvantaged businesses, by providing them with the necessary technical assistance and capacity-building resources to navigate complex housing and community development challenges. The program is designed to enhance the effectiveness of HUD's programs and policies, addressing critical areas such as affordable housing, disaster recovery, and fair housing, while promoting collaboration across multiple HUD offices. Interested applicants must submit their proposals by June 20, 2024, and can reach out to Benjamin Spears at communitycompass@hud.gov for further information.
