The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering Fiscal Year 2024 Tribal Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDGs) to support tribal governments and intertribal consortia in developing or refining programs aimed at protecting, managing, and restoring wetlands. The grants, totaling approximately $3.8 million, are intended for projects that either develop a Wetland Program Plan (WPP) or address specific actions within core elements such as monitoring, restoration, and regulatory approaches, with a focus on incorporating climate change adaptation and environmental justice considerations. Eligible applicants must provide a minimum of 25 percent in cost share/match, and applications are due by October 1, 2024, with awards ranging from $80,000 to $250,000. For further information, interested parties can contact Myra Price at the EPA via email at WPDG-RFA@epa.gov or by phone at 202-566-1225.
