The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is inviting applications for the FY24 Youth Justice Navigator Initiative, aimed at developing a free, interactive, open-source mobile application and website to assist youth and families in navigating the juvenile legal system. The initiative seeks to empower users by providing accessible legal knowledge, thereby enhancing their participation in legal processes and aiding public defenders in educating their clients. With an estimated total program funding of $1.5 million and a single award anticipated, interested applicants, specifically the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, must submit their proposals by August 22, 2024.
