Demonstrations Reducing Dementia Disparities

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health is forecasting the availability of a federal grant titled "Demonstrations Reducing Dementia Disparities" for Fiscal Year 2025. This initiative aims to fund demonstration projects that implement innovative, evidence-based strategies to reduce disparities in brain health among aging populations, particularly focusing on groups disproportionately affected by dementia and related chronic illnesses. The grant will support community-based approaches addressing social determinants of health, with a total estimated funding of $5 million, allowing for approximately nine awards ranging from $500,000 to $600,000 each.
