The Department of Homeland Security, through FEMA, is offering the Fiscal Year 2025 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) aimed at enhancing the physical and cybersecurity of nonprofit organizations at risk of terrorist attacks. This program has two funding streams: NSGP for Urban Areas (NSGP-UA) for nonprofits in designated high-risk urban areas, and NSGP for States (NSGP-S) for those outside these areas, with a total funding amount of $274.5 million anticipated to support approximately 56 awards. Eligible applicants are State Administrative Agencies (SAAs) that can submit applications on behalf of nonprofits classified under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, with funding available for planning, equipment, training, and exercises to improve organizational security.
