Description

The purpose of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Early Intervention Services (EIS) Program funding is to provide comprehensive primary health care and support services in an outpatient setting for low income, uninsured, and underserved people with HIV. Grant funds assist eligible recipients to provide the following services in a defined service area: 1) counseling for individuals with respect to HIV; 2) targeted HIV testing; 3) periodic medical evaluations of individuals with HIV and other clinical diagnostic services regarding HIV; 4) therapeutic measures for preventing and treating conditions arising from HIV; and 5) referrals for people with HIV to appropriate providers of health and support services. These services are to be provided directly or through referrals, contracts or memoranda of understanding (MOUs).

Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. - Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is offering funding for the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B. This initiative aims to reduce new HIV infections in the United States by implementing effective strategies and services in 48 counties, Washington, D.C., San Juan, Puerto Rico, and seven states.
