The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) is inviting applications for the "DRL Applied Research and Evaluation Fund," aimed at conducting an evidence-based evaluation of approaches to inclusive human rights in Ukraine. The primary objective of this grant is to build a portfolio of evidence that supports the recognition and respect of the rights of marginalized, underserved, and at-risk individuals within a democratic framework in Ukraine. This initiative is crucial for promoting sound data usage and generating insights on effective democracy and human rights programming. The funding available for this cooperative agreement ranges from $600,000 to $750,000, with a total estimated program funding of $750,000, and the application deadline is set for July 12, 2024. Interested applicants can reach out to DRL at DRL-GP-ALE@state.gov for further information.
