The Democratic Republic of the Congo USAID-Kinshasa is seeking input through a Request for Information (RFI) for its initiative titled "USAID Education for Social Prosperity," aimed at enhancing basic education in the Kasai region. The program's objectives include increasing access to safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive learning opportunities for children and youth aged 6 to 17, particularly in underserved and conflict-affected areas, with a planned budget of $12-14 million. This initiative builds upon previous investments in the region and emphasizes the importance of gender-specific approaches, school safety, and community involvement in education. Interested stakeholders, including NGOs, public institutions, and private sector actors, are encouraged to submit their feedback by January 24, 2025, to inform the program's design, ensuring alignment with local needs and government priorities.
