The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mozambique is seeking input for its Policy Reform Support Activity, aimed at fostering a conducive environment for sustainable private sector development, particularly in agriculture, trade, and biodiversity conservation. This initiative addresses critical challenges such as bureaucratic obstacles, transparency in oil and gas revenue management, and regional trade enhancement, while promoting local entrepreneurial engagement and inclusive policy dialogues. With Mozambique's economic growth declining from 8% to approximately 3%, the program seeks innovative strategies to tackle systemic issues and empower diverse stakeholders, especially youth and women. Interested organizations can submit their responses to the Request for Information by February 10, 2025, with funding amounts ranging from $1.5 million to $31.5 million, and inquiries can be directed to Paulo F Manhique at pmanhique@usaid.gov.
