Combined Synopsis/Solicitation DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY is seeking a Jon Boat, Motor, & Trailer for the Lac Qui Parle Project in Watson, Minnesota. The boat should be comparable to a '1648' style Jon Boat with a 40 HP motor and compatible trailer. The boat should have a flat bottom, 16' length, 48" bottom width, and a transom height of 20 inches. It should have a maximum weight capacity of 1000 pounds and a maximum person capacity of 4. The boat should have a side console with steering and control cables, operator's fold-down seat, two 12v power outlets, cup holder, space for top-mounted electronics, two locking storage compartments, bow storage, flat floor surface, non-slip flooring material, four tie-off cleats, one bow eye, two stern eyes/handles, oar locks, two navigation lights/sockets, two seat bases/fold-down seats, stern-mounted depth transducer, console-mounted depth display device, 12v bilge pump, portable 6-gallon fuel tank, and other specified accessories. The outboard motor should be 40 HP, 4-stroke gasoline, with hydraulic jack plate, electronic trimming function, electric start, and other specified features. The trailer should be a single axle bunk trailer with LED submersible trailer lights, 2" ball hitch, front safety strap, rear ratcheting straps, galvanized wheels with spare, and other specified features. The procurement also includes two oars, four USCG approved XL adult life vests, and a USCG approved fire extinguisher. The delivery is required by October 15, 2024.
