The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking qualified small businesses to provide research services to assist its Single-Family Insurance Operations Division (SFIOD). The main objective is to access an online database that can help SFIOD staff find current addresses for approximately 700,000 previous borrowers entitled to FHA refunds, whose addresses are currently unknown.
This data is crucial for HUD's Strategic Plan regarding the financially responsible management of FHA insurance programs. The selected contractor will provide web-based data research services, accessible from users' workstations during standard working hours. The contract will have a base period of 12 months, with four additional 12-month options.
The scope of work involves online research and data access, enabling SFIOD to model and predict FHA loan performance and manage risks. The key tasks include the ability to search for individuals using various identifying details, locate next of kin, list past addresses, and provide a secure log-in process.
HUD is particularly interested in hearing from small businesses, including those certified under various SBA programs, such as 8(a), Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, etc. The NAICS code is 561611, and interested parties must have the capacity and experience to perform the required tasks, with references to verify their capabilities.
This is a sources sought notice, and responses should be sent to Aaron.N.Cauthen@hud.gov by Monday, August 16, 2024, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. HUD emphasizes that this is a planning and market research phase, and no financial obligations or commitments are implied.
