The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources for the design and construction of an ion gauge calibration service heater enclosure, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of its ionization gauge calibration service (IGCS). This procurement is critical as NIST is upgrading its IGCS, which currently requires U.S. customers to send gauges overseas for calibration, thereby necessitating a new vacuum bake-out enclosure that supports automation and easy access to customer gauges. Interested vendors must respond with detailed information about their capabilities, including technical specifications, customization options, and compliance with the outlined requirements, by contacting Junee Johnson at junee.johnson@nist.gov. This notice serves as a market research tool and does not obligate the government to award a contract at this time.
