NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking responses to a Request for Information (RFI) regarding potential partnerships for the On-orbit Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing-1 (OSAM-1) project. The objective of this RFI is to explore alternate use cases for OSAM-1's spaceflight hardware, test facilities, and skilled personnel, aiming to enhance domestic capabilities in In-space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM) while promoting commercial, civil, and national objectives. The OSAM-1 initiative is crucial for advancing satellite servicing technologies, which are essential for extending satellite lifespans and reducing space debris, thereby supporting future exploration and satellite management efforts. Interested domestic organizations are encouraged to submit their responses by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 30, 2024, to the designated email address, HQ-STMD-OSAM-1-RFI@nasaprs.com, with a maximum submission length of 10 pages.
