Special Notice: DEPT OF DEFENSE - DEPT OF THE NAVY
The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), on behalf of the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) International Program Office (IPO), plans to issue a Full and Open Request for Proposal (RFP) for the production of MIDS Low Volume Terminals (LVT), spares, MIDS-LVT Block Upgrade 2 (BU2) retrofits, and engineering services to include repairs.
The MIDS Low Volume Terminals (LVT) are multifunctional information distribution systems used for communication and data sharing in military operations. These terminals are essential for transmitting critical information and facilitating effective coordination among military units.
The anticipated Solicitation is estimated to be released during the third quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2024, with an estimated award date of June 2025. The Government plans to award one or more Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, which will include a one five-year ordering period. To be eligible for the award, Offerors must demonstrate the ability to manufacture and deliver qualified MIDS LVTs by the specified delivery dates in the RFP.
