The Department of Defense, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, is conducting market research for the FY26 Munitions Maintenance (MUNS MX) project at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. This opportunity seeks responses from potential prime construction contractors with a bonding capability of at least $30 million to design and construct a new maintenance storage facility, which will include demolition of existing structures and compliance with various Department of Defense standards. The project is significant for enhancing munitions maintenance capabilities and is estimated to have a construction contract value between $25 million and $100 million, with an anticipated award in the second or third quarter of fiscal year 2026.
