    Description

The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Navy's NIWC Pacific, intends to award a sole source purchase order to EATON Corporation for a specialized service known as a 'Transient Study.' The objective of this study is to evaluate the necessity of a snubber on the secondary side of 2250 kVA voltage regulator cyclo-converter transformers, which are critical for the operation of port and starboard rectifiers associated with an unspecified transmitter device. This requirement is particularly significant as it addresses the unusual placement of snubbers, typically found on the primary side of transformers, to mitigate switching transients. Interested parties can reach out to Contract Specialist James K Blake at james.k.blake@navy.mil or by phone at 619-376-0860 for further details.
