The US Fish and Wildlife Service, under the Department of the Interior, is seeking bids for the WI GENOA NFH Custom Trailer project. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside contract, reserved for small businesses that meet the eligibility criteria defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
The primary objective is to manufacture and deliver a custom trailer tailored to the specific requirements of the Wisconsin GENOA NFH facility. The trailer must be designed and constructed to accommodate unique dimensions and features requested by the client.
The scope of work involves fabricating a trailer with specialized dimensions, including a length of approximately 40 feet and a height of 14 feet. The trailer must be equipped with an independent suspension and have the capacity to carry a load of up to 14,000 pounds. Additional features include a hydraulic lift gate, interior lighting, and custom graphics. The awardee will be responsible for ensuring the trailer meets all relevant safety standards and providing a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
To be considered for this project, applicants must demonstrate experience and expertise in custom trailer manufacturing, including a track record of successful deliveries within the past three years. The selected vendor will be required to provide references and undergo a site visit to assess their facilities and capabilities.
Funding for this project is estimated at $50,000 to $70,000, with the potential for multiple awards being granted. The contract will be awarded based on a combination of price and the technical merit of the proposals.
Interested parties should submit their bids by the stated deadline, ensuring they include the required documentation outlined in the solicitation package. This includes a detailed proposal describing their company, manufacturing capabilities, and relevant experience, as well as a completed price schedule and relevant certifications.
