Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - STATE, DEPARTMENT OF - FM- NEW DIESEL GENERATOR - 200KVA

The State Department is seeking proposals for the supply and delivery of a FM- NEW DIESEL GENERATOR for the US Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The generator should have a capacity of 200kva prime and 220kva standby power, operating at 1500 rpm, 50 Hz, and 400-230 Volts. It should be a 3-phase generator with a power factor of 0.8 and come complete with a soundproof canopy. The generator should be powered by a Perkins diesel engine or equivalent, and a warranty is required. Delivery to the embassy must be made within 10 days of receiving the purchase order, and advance payment is not authorized. Quotations are due by January 17, 2024, and must be submitted electronically in specific size and format. Offerors must be registered in the SAM database prior to submission. The evaluation of offers will be based on the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable approach.
