The United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) seeks proposals for organizing and conducting a technical symposium and series of workshops in Thailand as part of the IPEF Digital Infrastructure Regulatory initiative. The primary goal is to foster knowledge sharing between U.S. and Thai stakeholders on digital infrastructure and regulatory practices.
The scope of work includes event management tasks, such as planning, logistics, and execution, for up to four workshops focused on regulatory practices and spectrum management. The contractor is responsible for logistical arrangements, agenda development, speaker recruitment, and providing technical experts for each workshop. Each in-person workshop, lasting up to two days, will accommodate up to 150 participants in various locations across Thailand.
USTDA is looking for U.S. firms or individuals with experience in scientific and technical consulting to assist in organizing these events, with a total estimated contract value of $19 million. Proposals must be submitted by the extended deadline of August 7th, 2024.
Simultaneously, the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) seeks a contractor to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI) grant program. The objective is to assess the effectiveness and impact of the WDQI grants on workforce data systems and offer practical recommendations.
The evaluation requires expertise in evaluation design, workforce development, and data systems. It involves desktop research, developing an evaluation framework, data collection and analysis, and reporting findings with recommendations. ETA seeks a firm-fixed-price contract valued at $750,000 for this effort. Proposals are due by July 15, 2023, and the contract will be awarded by the end of August 2023.
For both opportunities, interested parties should follow the instructions provided in the respective solicitation documents and ensure SAM database registration. For the USTDA opportunity, questions should be directed to the provided contacts by the specified deadline.
